Biography:

He is the founding partner of this firm who has been qualified more than 15 years practicing on corporate and commercial matters. He had represented a wide range of clients ranging from small-business oriented to multinational companies. In 1996 he had prepared several joint venture agreements between Indonesian companies and Canadian companies, which were formalized by the Right Honorable Jean Chrétién, Prime Minister of Canada. In 2000-2001, he has represented major companies in debt recovering in Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA). While completing his graduate degrees in United States, he also completed several research projects regarding corporate liabilities.

RACHMAT, Agus (Partner)

Biography:

He is also the founding partner of this firm who has been qualified for years and had represented a wide range of clients. He has taken seminars, attended a symposium and several courses related to legal business application and banking, property, and also economic crimes/fraud. He also had represented high rank official who committed economic crimes including corruption,bank fraud, accounting fraud, money laundering, tax crimes, and custom violations.

BADJOERI, Hadianto (Partner)

Biography:

He had served as a public prosecutor for more than 30 years and resolved numerous custom violation crimes and bank fraud. Prior to joining this firm, he held positions as the Head of District Attorney's Office in several districts in Indonesia, Head of Jambi High Attorney's Office, and Head of South Sumatra High Attorney's Office.

BLUM, John D. (Of Counsel)

Biography:

Prior to coming to Loyola University Chicago School of Law, he held positions on the faculties of Pennsylvania State University and Boston University, and was a teaching fellow at the Harvard School of Public Health. In the spring of 1993 he was a visiting professor at Osgoode Hall and the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law under the auspices of the U.S-Canada Fulbright program. He has served as a consultant to USAID in Indonesia where he worked on the development of a curriculum in public health law for use in schools of public health. He has many years of experience in health law and policy, and is very active in research in these areas, with a particular focus on legal issues in medical quality assurance. He was successfully brought Loyola University Chicago School of Law – Institute for Health Law consistently ranked as one of the top health law programs in United States. Currently, he is also an adjunct professor of medical humanities in Loyola's Stritch School of Medicine, Department of Medicine and published numerous articles relating to health law and hospital management.

Working as a law clerk for an experienced attorney in Chicago, he helped defend numerous defendants in intellectual property and internet crime litigation against a major satellite television provider corporation. Furthermore, in his studies towards the Tax Law Certificate, he learned about all aspects of the United States tax system, as it affects individuals and business entities in transactions, income tax, and estate planning.
